Vanessa King is one of the UK’s leading experts in the psychology of happiness and resilience and one of a small group people globally to have completed a Masters degree in Applied Positive Psychology with the founder of the field, Martin Seligman.
Vanessa has been at the heart of the social movement, Action for Happiness (AfH) since it was founded for which she leads the translation of psychological research into practical action for individuals, organisations and communities. She is the architect of the 10 Keys for Happier Living, which have engaged and inspired people around the world. Vanessa has two TEDx talks and has delivered Guardian Masterclasses.
Vanessa has been featured and quoted in the Sunday Telegraph, Sunday Express, Guardian Online, Huffington Post and Financial Times amongst other publications and appeared on Sky TV and across the BBC. She has a regular column in Psychologies magazine. Her first book 10 Keys to Happier Living was published by Headline in 2016.
