A LOVE OF TWO HALVES – PJ WHITELEY SINGALONG AND READINGS AT THE SANDS
November 23 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
PJ Whiteley is an experienced author of nonfiction and fiction. His first novel Close of Play (Urbane 2015) was described by the Church Times as ‘well written, but above all, well observed’. Marching on Together (Urbane 2017) received a cover quote by Louis de Bernières. His third novel, A Love of Two Halves, is due to be published in October 2019 by Unbound.
Whiteley will give a talk and read from his new novel A Love of Two Halves, a romantic comedy with strong social themes as it concerns a love affair between a wealthy entrepreneur and a single mum on minimum wage. He will be joined by singer-musician Nigel Girling to perform songs that feature in the book, and in the prequel Marching on Together.
