Classics reimagined!

Students from Broadstairs College stretched their imaginations to come up with new covers for old books.

With amazing content from posters, videos, installations, and the unexpected, we had a fantastic array of creative input from Margate-based book designer Rob Flowers and their teacher Matthew Bowen. The students launched their show at Turner Contemporary at our June Bookie

'It was my first time in a gallery... It all just somehow worked!'

'We had a broad range of ages and abilities, from 16-24. The Rob Flowers workshop was brilliant and they worked really hard on their pieces. They really enjoyed it. It's so great for them to see their work in the gallery - a real confidence boost.'
