About the author...

Daisy Buchanan is an award winning journalist, broadcaster and bestselling author. She hosts the You’re Booked podcast where she interviews legendary authors about their reading habits and the Daisy Is…series, conversations about sex, work ambition and the intimate relationships that shape their lives. Her brand new novel Careering is out now.

Laura Tait is a 32-year-old writer for Shortlist and Stylist magazines. Laura writes as part of a duo with her friend Jimmy Rice, and The Best Thing That Never Happened to Me is their first book together. Jimmy and Laura met studying journalism at Sheffield University, so sitting in pubs talking about life and love is something they’ve been doing for the last ten years. Not much has changed since they started their first book, except they take their laptops to the pub and write it all down.
