Seaside Stories

People have always projected deep fears and fantastical desires onto the sea, and expressed this in their lore and stories.

Zoe Gilbert will take you on a literary journey, looking at some salty folklore alongside contemporary writing, and talk about how the sea can hold our losses and hopes, anxieties and longings, before writing a new story inspired by the folklore of the deep.
