Children’s Novelist Peter Erlam added to Billie’s Birthday Party

Local author Peter Erlam will talk about his first children's novel featuring Ravi the brainy raven, who is expelled from the Tower of London for alleged misbehaviour. He leaves the capital to make a fresh start in Thanet. He soon befriends two young sisters in Ramsgate, whose pal Tom disappears when he falls down a chalk cliff. In a heart-warming tale of redemption, Ravi flies to the rescue by locating the lad and alerting the emergency services. 

Retired journalist Peter has completed a trilogy of Ravi books, with Tales Of Tunnel Town and The Queen Merlina Mystery. Another of his children's books stars an 8-year-old, football-mad boy with a hang-up about his curly hair. It is based on the youngest of his three grandchildren.
