The friendly lit fest by the sea needs you!
We’re putting on our biggest festival yet from 19 to 22 October 2023. We’re looking for volunteers to help ensure our events run smoothly, our authors love us and our audiences leave us wanting more.
Volunteering with us is a chance to meet great people, gain new skills and be part of an incredible multi-day event here in Margate – take a look at our bumper programme.
We already have a team of 25 wonderful volunteers, and we’d like even more to help with:
Venue set up and pack down
Front of house
Promotion
Ticketing and door
Author support
Ushers and access support
Room set up
Bookshop
Social media
In return for two four hour shifts, you’ll get free access to all our sessions with amazing authors, lunch and travel expenses. And maybe even a T-Shirt.
