Meet Naomi Gale, vaginologist, doula and author of In Your Vagina Lies the Key to Your Happiness
Naomi Gale is a vaginologist, birthkeeper, photographer and Margate resident.
She takes a nervous system-led approach to pelvic care and works with clients individually, at retreats and at workshops.
In 2023, Naomi published her taboo-busting book In Your Vagina Lies the Key to Your Happiness, a five step how-to-guide on coming back into a relationship with your pelvis, including your vagina, vulva and womb.
Initially crowd funded by supporters from Naomi’s social media base, the book soon hit top ten lists in all its categories on Amazon.
Undaunted by self-publishing, the author found the process a thrill, and a way to circumnavigate a patriarchal society resistant to discussions about reproductive health and wellness.
Naomi began writing the book during a quiet period and as a response to the suppression of these conversations online and in her community.
“I came home to myself, creating a deep relationship with the sea and a deeper relationship with myself through the starker seasons here,” she explains.
As a Margate resident, Naomi sees the town as a mothering place, “where people come to heal and spend time with their creative selves”.

Naomi is currently percolating ideas for her next book and expanding her work as a doula.
